We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Return & Refund Policy for Handmade Goods

Effective Date: 27th November 2025

Thank you for shopping with us! We hope you love your handmade item(s). However, if you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to assist you. Please read our return and refund policy carefully.

1. Change of Mind Returns

Due to the unique nature of handmade goods, we do not accept returns for a change of mind. Please carefully review all product details and descriptions before making your purchase.

2. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We will assess the situation and offer a solution, which may include:

  • A replacement item, if available.
  • A full or partial refund, depending on the circumstances.
  • A repair, if applicable.

We may request photographs of the damage or defect to help us process your claim quickly.

3. Incorrect Orders

If you receive the wrong item(s), please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We will arrange for the correct items to be sent to you and return instructions for the incorrect item(s) to be returned.

4. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the item must:

  • Be in its original condition, unused, and undamaged.
  • Be returned in its original packaging (if possible).
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase (e.g., order number or receipt).

5. Return Shipping Costs

  • If the item is faulty or we made an error in fulfilling your order, Love Patchwork will cover the cost of return shipping.
  • If the return is due to change of mind, you (the customer) will be responsible for the return shipping cost.

6. Processing Time

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your return. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 business days after approval.

7. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please return it as per the instructions above and place a new order for the desired item.

8. Custom Orders

Custom orders (items made to your specific design or personalization) are non-refundable and non-returnable, unless they are faulty or damaged upon receipt.
